Today, I’m sharing songs from my recent indoor cycling playlist. My taste in music is quite varied. I’ll go from Rihanna to Little Dragon to Stevie Wonder to C2C to Beenie Man to E.S. Posthumus. All over the place. But all good places.

These songs were used for cycling class but will work for any form of cardio. Enjoy!

All In by Dubba Jonny
Get Lucky remix by Daft Punk
Locked Out of Heaven remix by Bruno Mars
My Songs Know What You Did by Fall Out boy
Never Gonna Back Down by BT
Out the Blue ft. Alice Gold by Sub Focus
She Bangs (spanish version) by Ricky Martin
Smooth Criminal remix by Michael Jackson
Thinking about you remix by Frank Ocean
Waste of Time by MO

What song should I add to my next playlist? I love going outside of the box. Give me a challenge. I ain’t scared.

@Danielle. Thank you. I haven’t heard many of these.

Danielle · 08/23/2013 at 12:21 am

I know you’ll come up with something great no matter what you play, but here are a few of my new favorites:

– Ali in the Jungle – The Hours
– I’m in Love (I Wanna Do It) [Wideboys Remix] – Alex Guadino
– Wake Me Up – Avicii
– Mana Mana (Club Mix) – Finger and Kadel
– Mother (You Used to Hold Me) [Calvin Harris vs. Danzig] – Kill_Mr_DJ

If you’re interested in any of these, let me know and I can get you a copy (total legal of course!!!).

Birthday cake?! Sprinkles? LOL. That was a lot of cake for one post. Rihanna would have been proud. I have one correction. I meant to type ” Short Skirt Long Jacket” for that one song, although you could probably find it anyway. Have fun!

@Megan. Thanks for stopping by. Yet another song I’ve never heard. You had me at “obsessed”.

Megan Kasten · 08/20/2013 at 1:35 pm

I’m obsessed with Nightshade by Alex Kid…compelling, and just a teeny bit weird.

Angel · 08/20/2013 at 1:26 pm

@Nomi. Ya’ll are showing up today. I don’t know any of these songs. I can’t wait to try them all out. Thank you, my lil one! If I ever form a music band, I’m naming us Birthday Cake. My stage name will be Sprinkles.

A remake of one of my favorite Coldplay songs (Paradise) by an extremely talented musical group:
1. Peponi- The Piano Guys ft. Alex Boye

Oldies but goodies from one artist. I love them/those beats:
1.Going the Distance- Cake
2.Short Shirt Long Jacket- Cake
3.Cake- Never There- Cake

Just cuz….new song with a sexy sound, layered with plenty of instruments and harmonies to make my ears happy:
1. Primetime- Janelle Monae ft. Miguel

Angel · 08/20/2013 at 12:51 pm

@Courtney. This is weird. I’ve got both the Ellie song and Thicke song planned for my next class. Thanks for other songs. I will check them out!

Angel · 08/20/2013 at 12:50 pm

@chels. Waiting on your song suggestions. (tapping fingers)

Chels R. · 08/20/2013 at 12:38 pm

Love this. I love mixing it up too. 😉

Courtney · 08/20/2013 at 11:46 am

1. Katy Perry – Roar
2. Robin Thicke f/ Kendrick Lamar – Give It 2 U
3. Ellie Goulding – Burn
4. Bonnie McKee – American Girl
5. Fifth Harmony – Miss Movin’ On

@Lauren. I don’t know any of these songs. Challenge accepted! You’ve got me intrigued by Valerie June. Thanks for the songs!

Lauren Brown · 08/20/2013 at 10:55 am

I’m feeling alternative today:
“Royals” by Lorde (I’m still not sick of this song)
Valerie June (absolutely any from her because She’s amazing)
“dreaming” by smallpools
“if so” by Atlas Genius (not new, but good)

Angel · 08/20/2013 at 10:49 am

@Megs. You had me at “breaking out and pushing through the sticky spots”. Thank you for your comment and the songs! Challenge accepted. 🙂

Megs · 08/20/2013 at 10:46 am

Couple of little Indie climbing songs 🙂
I love music and finding ways to play odd tunes in my classes

A couple of unexpected really long difficult climbing tunes would be Free Bird by Lynnard Skynnard and Cortez the Killer by Neil young. Best coupled with some deep dark inner focus and reflection. Both of those songs are good for thinking of something that has held you back in the past or has been a burden that haunts you and breaking out and pushing through the sticky spots. Try it!
