Have you ever had so much to say about something but felt hopeless because you knew it wouldn’t suffice? That’s how I feel about Burma. I’ll just continue with my lists.

More Highlights Of My Trip to Burma

No one stands around. Everyone squats.

No, really. Everyone.

Have you ever seen an elephant penis? The largest one I saw was in Burma. Maybe all elephants are well-endowed??? It makes sense. But as you can see, I wasn’t the only one lost in wonder.

There is a place called Inle Lake with houses built on the water along with a floating market. Families do their shopping then head back home via boat taxi.

Burma is the most active country I’ve visited so far. Chinlone is the sport of choice and they play it all day long and well into the night. The uniform is shorts, or the longyi tied high to keep the goods safe.

I wasn’t kidding about the motorbike situation. If it needs to be transported, it will be. Respect, Burma, respect.

Nine months into my journey, Burma is still my favorite country. There is no place like it. If you come to this side of the world, you must see Burma. You HAVE to.
