This is the official start of my weekly video segment. Every Wednesday, I will post a video about a new product, idea, exercise, website, movie, book, or person that I think will make you better, faster, stronger, and more lovable. I like a challenge so I’m aiming to keep the product review to 60 seconds. I want this website to continue to be a place where you laugh and learn. If there’s anything you want me to review or talk about, please comment below.

Also, no one has made me a mix CD in awhile. Just sayin’.

Trader Joe’s Filet of Sole
*with rich butter beans & seasoned spinach leaves

Ingredients: Wild sole, butter beans, spinach, parsley, cilantro, tomatoes, poblano peppers, water, lemon juice, mollases
(This is how they spelled it on the box.), soy sauce, garlic, scallions, salt, pepper, crushed red chile peppers, rice starch.

Best for: Emergency situations. It’s late. You’re tired. You know you shouldn’t eat that bag of chips. Enter Filet of Sole.

Pros: 1. Portion control. We eat too much. This helps with that. 2. Price. It’s $3. Boom. 3. Ease. You can microwave it or put it in the oven. The work is done for you. It’s good to keep on hand during emergencies, like when you’re craving pizza or quesadillas.

Cons: 1. It tastes good but not great. You won’t be closing your eyes in a state of bliss. 2. The sodium content is 670mg. Frozen food always has more sodium than fresh food so this is not a deal breaker for me. If you need to watch your sodium intake, take care of you, boo.

Final verdict: I would eat it again but I would add tomatoes. My palate is high maintenance.
