In this video, I explain another way to meet the salad requirement and I also explain how those of you who are beginners can succeed on the pushup and/or lunge portion of this challenge.

Salad for Breakast: 2-3 cups spinach cooked, 2 scrambled eggs, top with salsa
Pushup Tips: If the assignment seems daunting, then do small sets. Complete 10 pushups upon waking, at work, before dinner, and before bedtime. Do a little bit here and there. Doing it this way will allow your muscles to rest so you can achieve your goal. You don’t have to do it all at once, if you are a beginner. My advanced people should aim to do as many reps as possible on each attempt.

@ Leah – Even though we are all sharing what we’ve done, this is in no way about comparing ourselves to each other. The sharing is to hold ourselves accountable – if I share what I still need to do then it makes it something real and putting it out there gives me motivation to complete the assignment. Knowing that I want to report that I’m making progress also motivates me to make that progress. Don’t compare yourself to anyone – you moitivated yourself to do those 70 lunges, which is 70 lunges more than you would have done without this challenge, and both of those are things to be proud of and happy about! If you can barely walk now, that means you were WORKIN and that’s what matters – get it! I”m proud of you.

OK so am I the only one sore…..I have 4 salads down. Mike had 130 pushups as of last night and I (with my head hung in shame) could only do 20 lunges per leg totaling 70 per leg. I have a long way to go but I can barely walk now.

My first night doing the lunges made me dizzy. The second night, not so much dizzy, but mad sore. I’m 30 push ups and 100 lounges in. Only on salad 1 -foolish I know, but I’m being honest. Exercising makes me sleep good den a mug!

Can i just add, i am NOT a runner?!? So excited that I’ve accomplished more than half the miles. Can i get a woop, woop?!?! LL, im gonna be a runner again, havent done that since i was a teenager…jyst a few years agi;-) ha!

I’m on my way 100 lunges , 60 pushups, 1 salad : ( lots of fruit : ) and 4 miles completed. Man I’m a little soreness. Thank you for your time.

I”m at 75 push ups, 100 lunges, and only 2miles cuz I had to wake up mad early, but i’ll add extra milage to my morning run tomorrow. The entire office breaks at 3:00pm to go into the studio and do our lunges and pushups. its hilarious

20 miles run, 2 salads, 150 push ups, 200 lunges each leg. pretty clear which challenge needs the most work 🙂

@Shae. You were right to avoid creamy. Technically, you can have it on this challenge but why would you. It has so many extra calories and you find great tasting dressings for less damage. I’ll write about that soon.

2-salads and 60 pushups. I was so tired from Zumba last night I didn’t eat dinner or do any pushups. So I have some catching up to do. Today I will be downtown and will stop by favorite luxury salad chain Mixt Greens for lunch.

I totally thought you passed out – made me a lil nervous about the spinach burning. I’m good but sore from all the pushups yesterday. My office mates and I will be doing 10 pushups and lunges/leg every hour at work today.
