I have highlighted three food blogs that offer unique and tasty green smoothie recipes. Some are more delicious than others. The last one will not taste as good as the others but it is excellent for detoxifying and retraining your taste buds. Try them all.

Banana Peanut Butter Green
1 frozen banana
2 to 3 heaping handfuls of spinach
2 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 to 1-1/2 cups almond (or soy or regular) milk

Blueberry Almond Butter Green
1 cup raw goat’s milk
2 tablespoons almond butter
1 small to medium frozen banana, sliced into 2-inch chunks
1 cup frozen blueberries
3 cups spinach, well-packed

The Fancy Green
3-4 cups water
1 avocado
4 large handful of kale (we like to de-stem ours)
1 handful of fresh spinach
1 juice of a lemon and zest
drops of stevia to taste
1 in fresh peeled ginger (sometimes more, as we just love it)
spoonful sunflower lecithin (optional)
1 tbsp Udo’s omega oil blend

made a green smoothie for myself and my two year old daughter. Cracked her up, to drink something that color.

These look amazing, especially the last one. I think it’s funny that in the second recipe they want us to slice the banana into 2-inch chunks before putting it into the blender. Cracked me up. Today I made one with 2 cups fresh spinach, 1 small banana, 1/2 apple, fresh ginger, and unflavored whey protein. I liked. Thanks for these, I wish I had the ingredients!
