It’s Day 9. Every Tuesday is an ab-focused workout. This one is something you know. Take advantage of this familiarity. Go harder and faster. There’s Extra Credit, too.
Day 9: Abs Ain’t Easy
Repeat the workout from last Tuesday.
- Bird Dog – Opposite Arm/Leg
- Stationary High Knee Run
- Lying Toe Touch – Opposite Arm/Leg
- Stationary High Knee Run
- Squat Thrusts with a jump (no pushup)
- Stationary High Knee Run
- High Plank Under Body Toe Touch – Opposite Arm/Leg
- Stationary High Knee Run
- Butterfly Sit Ups
- Stationary High Knee Run
Try to complete more reps than last week. For the demo and details on repetitons, visit Day 2.
Extra Credit: Complete a forearm plank hold for as long as possible. Record your time. Take a break. And do it again. See if you can hold it as long as you did the first time.

Done! I did a few more than last time — 5 complete sets and up to 11 butterfly situps. 2:34 on the first plank and then 1:32. I can barely type this right now.

I completed five sets – which is one half set more than I did the last time. I held my first plank for 2:30 and the second for 2:15!

I am done. I completed just shy of 5 sets (had 15 more butterfly sit-ups to go. I held the plank for 2:03 the first time and 2:09 the second. Woo I’m going to sleep great tonight!

Did 3 sets of this workout and the extra credit. Did 1 min for the first plank and 1:05 the second. It felt like my body was stuck to my bed this morning. My entire body HURT SO GOOD!!!!

Oh lawd I can only get thru 1 round. Code 10. Got my 2 miles in and my fastest mile was 9:14 (shouldn’t have eaten that apple right before my run) I’m a day behind, but i’m catching up. I think I’ll double up.
