We’re on Day 2 and it’s Tuesday Trim. Each Tuesday, the workout is geared to strengthen the core and trim the fat. A strong core improves posture, reduces back pain, and helps you climb trees.

Day 2: No Jelly in Your Belly workout


Warm Up:
5 minutes

Perform The Following Round of Exercises:

  1. Bird Dog – Opposite Arm/Leg
  2. Stationary High Knee Run
  3. Lying Toe Touch – Opposite Arm/Leg
  4. Stationary High Knee Run
  5. Squat Thrusts with a jump (no pushup)
  6. Stationary High Knee Run
  7. High Plank Under Body Toe Touch – Opposite Arm/Leg
  8. Stationary High Knee Run
  9. Butterfly Sit Ups
  10. Stationary High Knee Run

Instructions: Perform 20 reps of each exercise. Example: For the high knee run, each time a knee lifts, that is 1 rep. So it’s 10 on each side but 20 total. Complete as many rounds as possible in time allotted.

Beginners: Correctly perform as many rounds as you can in 20 minutes.
Intermediate & Advanced: Correctly perform as many rounds as you can in 30 minutes.

Have a great workout. Be safe. Don’t give up.

Just finished 3 rounds of jelly bellies in 20 min. I just realized I’m not getting email notice until 5am the day after so I need to check the blog earlier. Need to benchmark tomorrow. I have a great idea! Let’s do it during boot camp tommorrow!

My bad…got behind. Had to finish tonight and still have energy to get up for boot camp in the morning. Did 6-1/2 rounds. Probably will have to crawl out of bed. Hopefully boot camp is light on core….fat chance lol. Angel…..mighty sly slipping in all of the squat thrusts w/jump

Hmmm. I did my four sets before the videos were posted and did two of the exercises slightly differently than what you wanted us to do. But since I realized about two months ago that I could not do a single sit up because I hadn’t done any abs exercises in six years, I’m still going to count it as a win

Day2 in the books completed 2 full rotations had to cheat on the planks and split them into 2 sets of thirty seconds planks. Thought I would do way better than a 10 min rotation but it got done. Dont know what I should do tomorrow any suggestions???
