Oh my, we are close to the end of the challenge. For those of you who are still here, thank you. I know it’s hectic with the holidays. I appreciate your diligence.
Day 19 of the Fitness Challenge
1. For 24 or 48 hours, avoid foods that contain more than 4 ingredients. If the list of ingredients numbers 5 or more, it is not allowed. Period. Clean foods are allowed. For instance, if you have a salad with cucumbers, carrots, almonds, apples, avocado, and tomatoes, that is fine. Yes, it has more than 5 ingredients but they are natural foods. I’m talking about things that are processed. So if you make homemade cookies, you are allowed to eat them as long as there aren’t five ingredients. Many things that come in box, bag, or jar are suspect. Your Starbucks bagel, croissant, muffin. Suspect. Your man friend who hasn’t called in a week. Suspect.
*For those who want to step it up a notch, eat items with 3 ingredients are less.
